Scarlett Ingrid Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, in Manhattan, New York City, to a Danish father, Karsten Johansson, and an American mother, Melanie Sloan, of Polish-Jewish descent. She has a twin brother, Hunter, and three other siblings.
